Review: John Frieda Root Awakening shampoo and conditioner

After an unfortunate incident (i.e. royal mail affirmed their inability to process parcels) I was left conditioner-less and bored with my shampoo as well as being post-op so unbearably fickle and ‘needing’ of stuff to make me feel better.  Que a trip to Boots with my mummy.  After wandering up the aisles of shampoo and conditioner and being completely overwhelmed {please tell me I am not the only one that suffers from this?!} I spotted these.

I read about these a while back but to be honest the ‘root awakening’ fluffy name totally turned me off.  But they had been spoke of highly and at 2 for £7.50 (in Boots) I thought I’d put my name prejudice to one side and give the ‘normal’ variety a go.  And oh my!

My hair has never been one to have a relationship with shampoo or conditioner.  You probably know at least one person who ‘swears by’ x and y.  Sure my hair has had crushes, it likes Australian conditioners and really doesn’t get on with Aussie shampoos or conditioners yet loves their styling products <— weird eh

But my hair has fallen head over heels for this stuff, it was a full-on crush.  However, after receiving a compliment every.day.of.use. it was love.  Plus it is a dream to style, easier to do curly (little to no frizz) and a toddle to blowdry straight as well as not making it feel dry or greasy.  So it is now in a long-term relationship with root awakening!
It feels perfect :D
